NEWS : SEPTEMBER 30th, 2001 : NEWS

In an effort to free up space on the web server that this site resides on, and since there have been no updates for a year, this site will be removed from the server. We had a good 6-year run, and may come back in the future as a more stream-lined version of our old self. If you'd like to see the website come back as a self-maintaining site of Nebraska web sites, along with an online community for Nebraska people, please drop an e-mail to nebraska@morpo.com and let us know. Thanks so much!

In the meantime, why not check out The Morpo Review, an online literary magazine that has been publishing since 1994. As a nice plus, it's based in Omaha!

The Nebraska World Wide Web Registry will be shutting down on November 1st, 2000. The current web site will remain at this address, but after that date, no more updates will be made to this site. About the Nebraska WWW Registry

Nebraska is a state rich in culture, landscape and history. It is also rich with high-tech companies and other folks who have World Wide Web presences.

In October of 1994, there was no one place that listed and catalogued all of these resources. What started out then as a hobbyist's bookmark file of sites in Nebraska (similar to the way Yahoo! started) has now become the opus you see before you (which isn't quite as profitable as Yahoo! ... yet!).

The Nebraska World Wide Web Registry is a non-profit, non-affiliated web site database that contains information about all of the World Wide Web sites and personal home pages that exist in or about the state of Nebraska. It is as comprehensive as it can be, as we rely upon webmasters and developers alike to register their sites as they are created.
